Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Analiza motoričnih sposobnosti in morfoloških značilnosti 5-6 let starih otrok ptujskih vrtcev, je sestavljeno iz dveh delov, teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen pomen gibalnih dejavnosti otrok, motorične sposobnosti in razvijanje le-teh pri predšolskih otrocih, ter morfološke sposobnosti in značilnosti predšolskih otrok. V empiričnem delu smo prikazali razlike v rezultatih motoričnih sposobnosti med dečki in deklicami, glede na sposobnost regulacije energije in sposobnost regulacije gibanja, ter rezultate glede na indeks telesne mase. Otroke smo testirali s pomočjo osmih motoričnih testov, s katerim smo ugotavljali razvitost ravnotežja, koordinacije, agilnost, eksplozivno moč in vzdržljivostno moč. Na osnovi obdelanih rezultatov ugotavljamo, da dečki na testih motoričnih sposobnostih, ki so odgovorne za regulacijo energije, dosegajo boljše rezultate od deklic in da so deklice boljše od dečkov v motoričnih sposobnostih, ki regulirajo gibanja. Dečki z višjim indeksom telesne mase so dosegli slabše rezultate od dečkov z nižjim indeksom telesne mase na testih motoričnih sposobnosti. Med deklicami z višjim in nižjim indeksom telesne mase ni bilo razlik v testiranju motoričnih sposobnosti.

Secondary abstract: The diploma paper, titled The Analysis of Motor Skills and Morphological Characteristics of 5-6-year-old Children in Kindergartens Ptuj, consists of two parts - a theoretical and empirical one. The theoretical part presents the importance of children's motor activity, motor skills and their development in preschool children, and the morphological abilities and characteristics of preschool children. The empirical part presents the differences in motor skills between boys and girls with regard to energy regulation and the ability of movement control, and the results with regard to Body Mass Index (BMI). The children were tested in eight motor tests in order to ascertain balance development, coordination, agility, explosive power and endurance power. On the basis of processed data it has been ascertained that boys achieve better results than girls in tests of those motor skills, which are responsible for energy regulation, and that girls achieve better results than boys in those motor skills, which control movement. High-BMI boys have achieved worse results than low-BMI boys in motor skills tests. There were no differences in motor skills tests between high- and low-BMI girls.
