Secondary abstract: | This article considers how to define the user of a target language. The focus is on users at the lowest level of the Common European Framework of Reference (A1) taking the Slovenian language exams at the breakthrough level. At this level, it is particularly difficult to imagine typical language users because their plurilingual profile is constrained by the current personal situation in which they (linguistically) act, and their typical communication strategy is translanguaging. |
