Secondary abstract: | The main field of this diploma work is a method for the enumeration of paths between the peaks and valleys of the benzenoid graph. The use of graph theory in chemistry is presented as well as the link between chemistry and mathematics. The basic concepts of graph theory and chemical concepts are presented in the opening chapters of the diploma work, which are necessary to understand the following concepts. Next, the basic characteristics and definitions of the benzenoid graphs are given, the program code method for the enumeration of the monotonic paths between peaks and valleys in the benzenoid graph is attached. In the end, for better understanding, different examples with solutions are given. |
