Abstract

V diplomskem delu obravnavam metodo za merjenje pljučnih volumnov in pretokov - spirometrijo. Najprej na kratko predstavimo mehaniko dihanja z vidika fizike. Nato razložimo spirometrijo in metode, ki se uporabljajo pri spirometriji. S pomočjo anemometra izvedemo meritev pljučne funkcije. Omenjena priprava je zgrajena iz pihalne cevi in anemometra, ki deluje na principu "vroče žice". Ker je težava pri večini anemometrov ta, da imajo prepočasen čas zajemanja vrednosti in so rezultati lahko nenatančni, smo naše izmerjene vrednosti primerjali z meritvami v pulmološki ambulanti, ki jih je izvedla zdravnica, specialistka pulmologije. Na ta način smo lahko ovrednotili natančnost naših izmerjenih podatkov.

Secondary abstract: The essence of my diploma work is spirometry, a method for measuring lung capacities and volume flows. First, we shortly introduce the mechanics of breathing from the physics point of view. Further, we continue describing spirometry and the methods used in spirometry. With the help of anemometer we carry out measurements of lung functions. This spirometer consists of blowing tube and a "hot-wire"-type. anemometer. The disadvantage of many anemometers is that the rate of measurements is rather slow and this might lead to inaccuracy of measured values; therefore, we compared our results with the results obtained in the laboratory of medical doctor, specialist for pulmonary diseases. Hence, we were able to compare and evaluate our measurements.
