Abstract

V diplomske delu je zato obravnavana upodobitev človeške figure z dvema slikarskima tehnikama, in sicer slikanjem z voščenkami in slikanjem z vodenimi barvami. Izdelki so delo prvošolčkov različnih razredov. Diplomsko delo vsebuje teoretični in praktični del. V teoretičnem delu so ugotovitve in mnenja različnih avtorjev, naša predvidevanja in mnenja o likovnem razvoju otrok in slikanju, splošne resnice ter nacionalni učni cilji pri pouku likovne vzgoje. Praktični del pa vsebuje izdelke otrok prvih razredov, njihovo analizo in primerjavo.

Secondary title: A COMPARISON OF WAX CRAYON PAINTING WITH WATER COLOR PAINTING
Secondary abstract: Children begin to express themselves with drawing and painting around the age of three. Monitoring their expressing is a very interesting and manifold experience. One of the first motifs of such expression is a human figure, which is characteristic also in later years of a child's development in painting skills. The present diploma paper, therefore, deals with the representation of a human figure with two painting methods, i. e. wax-crayon painting and watercolour painting. The products treated were made by pupils of the first grade of a primary school. We focused on a comparison between the two painting methods, which method is easier for children to express with, how they use colours, how many different colours they use, and what their representation of a human figure is. The diploma paper comprises a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, findings and opinions of different authors, our anticipations and opinions regarding the children's development in painting, general truths and national teaching aims in art education are given. The practical part includes paintings of the first-grade children, their analysis and comparison. Then findings and accomplishment of the aims set are treated. It was found that with the wax crayon painting the pupils represented a greater number of details, the lines drawn were sharper, the colours used variegated and clear, and human figures painted were smaller than those made with watercolour painting. With the latter method details are less conspicuous, colours used are delicate and often mixed, lines are soft, and colour transitions are blurred.
