Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je razviti sono kemijsko metodo za sinteze feritov prehodnih kovin s skupno formulo MFe2O4 (M = Zn, Mn, Ni, Co, Cu) v vodnih raztopinah. Pri tej metodi kemijske reakcije potekajo preko mehanizma akustične kavitacije, ki zajema nastanek, rast in implozivno porušitev mehurčkov v obsevani tekočini. Sintetizirane prahove smo karakterizirali z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo (XRD). Izbrane vzorce smo karakterizirali tudi s transmisijsko elektronsko mikroskopijo (TEM) in z meritvami magnetnih lastnosti.

Secondary abstract: The aim of this diploma was to develop a sonochemical method for the synthesis of transition metal ferrites with the general formula MFe2O4 (M = Zn, Mn, Ni, Co, Cu), using aqueous solutions. This method uses high - intensity ultrasound, which leads to chemical reactions through the mechanism called acoustic cavitation: formation, growth and impolsive collapse of bubbles inside the irradiated liquid. Crystalls were characterized by using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), electron microscopy (TEM) and magnetic measurements.
