Serijski morilci v kontekstu družbe, biologije in socioloških teorij

Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo preučevali vpliv serijskih morilcev na družbo. Najprej smo predstavili osnovne pojme, ki so ključni za nadaljnje razumevanje obravnavane tematike, in se seznanili z različnimi vrstami serijskih morilcev. Nato smo se osredotočili na tiste dejavnike, ki pripomorejo k temu, da se posamezniki sploh razvijejo v serijske morilce. Izkazalo se je, da ni zgolj en dejavnik tisti, ki odločilno vpliva na razvoj serijskih morilcev, ampak gre za kombinacijo različnih dejavnikov, ki se lahko medsebojno povezujejo in vsi na neki način pripomorejo k izoblikovanju serijskih morilcev. Predstavili smo okolje, v katerem serijski morilci delujejo, in kakšne so značilnosti tega okolja. Nanizali smo tudi primere serijskih morilcev iz različnih držav in mednje vključili tudi slovenskega serijskega morilca Silva Pluta. Nazadnje smo se še ustavili pri nazornem pregledu raznovrstnih teorij, ki se ukvarjajo s preučevanjem ter raziskovanjem na področju serijskih morilcev in kriminalitete. Opisali smo biološke teorije, sociološke teorije, psihološke teorije in teorijo racionalne izbire in spoznali, da se teorije poslužujejo različnih načinov za preučevanje serijskih morilcev. Najbolj optimalno bi bilo, če bi lahko iz vsake teorije uporabili samo njene učinkovite načine preučevanja. Na podlagi kritik pa bi omenjene teorije še dodatno izboljšali.

Secondary abstract:	In our master's thesis, we studied the impact of serial killers on society. First, we introduced the basic terms that are key to further understanding the topic under discussion and got acquainted with the different types of serial killers. Then we focused on those factors that contribute to the fact that individuals develop into serial killers in the first place. It turns out that it is not just one factor that has a decisive influence on the development of serial killers, but rather a combination of different factors that can be interconnected and all of them in some way contribute to the development of serial killers. We also presented the environment in which serial killers operate and some of the characteristics of this environment. We have also listed the cases of serial killers from different countries and included the Slovenian representative Silvo Plut among them. Finally, we presented a visual overview of various theories that deal with the study and research in the field of serial killers and criminality. We described biological theories, sociological theories, psychological theories, and rational choice theory and realized that the theories use different methods to study serial killers. It would be most optimal if we could use only its effective methods of study from each theory. On the basis of criticism, the aforementioned theories would be further improved.
