diplomsko delo

Abstract

V empiričnem delu so v prvem poglavju z zgodovinsko metodo preučeni običaji skozi vse leto in zapisane ljudske pesmi, ki jih pojejo v Šmartnem v Rožni dolini, Socki in v Novi Cerkvi. V drugem poglavju empiričnega dela so kvantitativno obdelani zbrani in interpretirani podatki ankete, izvedene med učenci POŠ Vojnik in njihovimi starši.

Secondary title: DISCOVERING OUR MUSICAL CULTURAL TRADITION IN ŠMARTNO AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis Folk Musical Tradition In Šmartno And Its Surrounding presents one part of cultural heritage in this rural area. It is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In theoretical part there is some general information about Slovenian folk music tradition acquired from the literature. In empirical part there are first presented habits through the year by using the historical method and recorded folk songs which are sung in Šmartno, Socka and Nova Cerkev. The descriptions are obtained with non-standard interviews folk singers, musicians and some locals. There are 10 folk songs with note text and 2 CDs of folk singers enclosed. Secondly, in empirical part, there are quantitatively processed, collected and interpreted data coming out of pupils of Primary School Vojnik and their parents. We have found out that adult respondents are relatively familiar with local folk heritage but majority believes that it's dying out. Folk songs are mostly sung among friends and at home rather than at work. Adults were thought at home, but children mostly at school. The school, in addition to the cultural and tourist association, is an important factor in the preservation of cultural heritage.
