Odsotnost staršev ter poslanstvo starih staršev v družinah

Abstract

Družine se med seboj razlikujejo, vendar to ni tako pomembno, če je otrok v družini deležen vsega, kar potrebuje za svoje življenje. Rojstvo otroka je za večino ljudi zelo pomemben trenutek, nekaterim pa čisto odveč. Zato lahko otrok hitro ostane brez enega oziroma brez obeh staršev. Odsotnost enega ali obeh staršev otroka zelo prizadene in mu pusti trajne posledice, ki se jih starši sploh ne zavedajo. Po odsotnosti staršev so po navadi stari starši tisti, ki poskrbijo za svoje vnuke. Moramo pa reči, da je tudi veliko starih staršev, ki v delni odsotnosti staršev velikokrat poskrbijo za vnuke. Večkrat so tudi stari starši tisti, ki preživijo z otroki več časa kot starši.

Secondary abstract:	Families are different from each other, however the differences between them are not so relevant if the child receives everything that they need for their life in the family. The child's birth is an extremely important moment for most people while it is not important at all for some others. Therefore, a child can soon lose one of the parents or even both of them. The absence of one or both of the parents can hurt the child very much and it can also cause permanent consequences which are not even noticed by the parents. When the parents are absent, the grandparents usually provide for their grandchildren. We also have to mention that in many cases the grandparents take care of their grandchildren also when the parents are only partially absent. The grandparents often spend more time with the children than their parents.
