Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je sinteza novih nikljevih koordinacijskih spojin iz nikljevega(II) acetata tetrahidrata in aminopiridinov. Najprej smo sintetizirali nikljev(II) hidroksid, ki smo ga potem uporabili za sintezo nikljevega(II) acetata tetrahidrata. Sintetizirane kristale smo karakterizirali z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo, termogravimetrično analizo, diferenčno dinamično kalorimetrijo, Fourierjevo transformacijsko infrardečo spektroskopijo, izmerili susceptibilnost in magnetizacijo ter izvedli monokristalno analizo. Delo je bilo namenjeno predvsem odkrivanju še ne sintetiziranih nikljevih koordinacijskih spojin, določanju njihove kemijske formule ter spoznavanju različnosti in podobnosti sintetiziranih nikljevih koordinacijskih spojin ob uporabi različnih množinskih razmerij kemikalij, potrebnih za sintezo.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this diploma work was to synthesize new nickel coordination compounds out of nickel(II) acetate tetrahydrate and aminopyridines. First we synthesized nickel(II) hydroxide, which was further on used to synthesize nickel(II) acetate tetrahydrate. Using the X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), magnetic measurements (susceptibility and magnetization of the samples) and single crystal X-ray structure analysis I characterised the synthesized crystals. The work is concentrated on the discovery of unsynthesized nickel coordination compounds, determining their chemical formula and acknowledging the diversity and likeness of synthesized nickel coordination compounds while having in mind different molar concentration of chemicals needed for synthesis.
