Abstract

Possibility of simultaneous use of entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria bassiana (Bals.-Criv.) Vuill. and antagonistic fungi Trichoderma spp. |
Secondary abstract: |
Biotic plant protection uses living organisms which suppress harmful organisms and at the same time do not harm the health of humans and animals. Biotic agents include the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana and antagonistic fungi from the genus Trichoderma spp., which were used in our research. In a laboratory experiment, we studied the antagonistic activity between the fungus Beauveria bassiana Bals. Vuill. and fungi Trichoderma spp. at two temperatures 15 and 25 °C. The isolates of T. asperellum, T. gamsii, T. atroviride_T-R8 and T. koningiopsis_T-R15 and B. bassiana from the preparation Naturalis were selected. Over a period of ten days, the growth of the mycelia of the fungi B. bassiana and Trichoderma spp. was monitored. In the research, we found that the temperature of 25 °C is more optimal for the growth of mycelia of all the studied species. We found that the fungus B. bassiana grew best when fungi Trichoderma spp. were inoculated into the double culture on the seventh day after the inoculation of B. bassiana. Pronounced inhibition of the growth of the fungus B. bassiana by fungi from the genus Trichoderma was found at the temperature of 25 °C, and a smaller one at the temperature of 15 °C. All studied species of Trichoderma, except T-R15, have a fungicidal effect on B. bassiana. |
