Abstract
V diplomskem delu obravnavamo, v kolikšni meri različne družine vplivajo na učno (ne)uspešnost otrok, saj ima družina za otrokov zdrav in celovit razvoj odločilen pomen. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo tako poudarili pomen družine za otrokov razvoj. Predstavili smo definicijo družine ter osvetlili razvoj družine skozi čas. Orisali smo tipe družin ter vlogo očeta in matere v življenju otroka. Osredotočili smo se na enoroditeljske družine in v povezavi s tem na otrokov učni uspeh. V empiričnem delu smo osvetlili učni uspeh in odklonsko vedenje otrok, ki prihajajo iz enoroditeljskih družin, ter ugotavljali, koliko obšolskih dejavnosti obiskujejo. Zanimalo nas je, katerih enoroditeljskih družin je več: enoroditeljskih materinskih ali enoroditeljskih očetovskih družin. Ugotovili smo, da na otrokov učni uspeh ne vpliva sestav družine, iz katere izhaja otrok. V nasprotju z izsledki literature raziskava kaže, da otroci, ki živijo v enoroditeljski družini, nimajo več težav zaradi neprimernega vedenja kot otroci, ki prihajajo iz dvostarševskih družin. Po pričakovanjih se je tudi v naši raziskavi pokazalo, da je veliko več enoroditeljskih družin z materjo. Sestav družine ne vpliva na pogostost vključenosti otroka v izvenšolske interesne dejavnosti. Ugotovili smo še, da izobrazba staršev ne vpliva na pogostejše informiranje staršev o otrokovem učno-vzgojnem uspehu. V poglavju o vrednotenju hipotez in v sklepnem delu so prikazane vse ugotovitve, do katerih smo prišli med izdelavo diplomskega dela.

The following Diploma assignment studies the extent of the influence of different families on the school performance, as the family is of vital importance for a healthy and comprehensive development of the child. The theoretical part of the Diploma assignment focuses on the importance of the family with regard to the child's development. We defined the term family and highlighted the development of the family through time. We described various types of families and the role of the father and the mother in the life of the child. We focused on one-parent families and their influence on the child's school performance. In the empirical part, we highlighted the school performance and the deviant behaviour of children from one-parent families. Moreover, we also tried to determine the volume of extracurricular activities that children participate in. We strived to establish whether there are more mother-only families or father-only families. We discovered that the family structure does not affect the child's school performance. Contrary to the results in the literature, our research shows that children who live in a one-parent family do not have more difficulties due to their inappropriate behaviour compared to the children from two-parent families. According to the expectations, our research also established that a major number of families with a single parent are mother-only families. Family structure does not affect the frequency of the child's participation in the extracurricular activities. To continue, we also observed that the education of parents does not affect the frequency of information provided to parents regarding the child's school performance. In addition, the chapter on the assessment of hypotheses presents all our findings arising from this Diploma assignment. |
