Abstract

V diplomskem delu z naslovom Gibalne sposobnosti pet let starih otrok v novomeških vrtcih smo skušali prikazati razlike v doseganju rezultatov pri testiranju otrok, starih štiri, pet in šest let. Otroke smo testirali s pomočjo osmih testov gibalnih sposobnosti in gibalnih znanj, s katerimi smo ugotavljali stopnjo razvitosti gibalnih sposobnosti in nivo gibalnih znanj pri otrocih.

Secondary title: MOTOR ABILITIES OF FIVE YEARS OLD CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTENS OF NOVO MESTO
Secondary abstract: In the thesis "Motor abilities of five year old children in Novo mesto kindergartens", we tried to show differences in achieving results by testing children aged four, five and six years. Children were tested by using eight tests of motor skills, so we could examine the level of development of motor abilities in children. The theoretical part presents motor abilities of children, tries to identify gender differences in relation to levels of development of motor skills, defines concepts of motor abilities, physical competence, motor skills and includes a detailed presentation of motor abilities development of a child. The empirical part deals with the results of tests on 104 of children aged four to six years in Novo mesto kindergartens. Results have shown us that there are differences in development level of motor skills in relation to gender and age of children. Thus, older children compared to younger one, on average achieved better results. The deviation is shown only in five year old boys, who had the best results in average. It was evident that boys usually perform better in motor abilities tests for regulation of energy, while the girls attain better results in control movement tests.
