Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava vpliv poznavanja slovenske vojaške zgodovine na odnos Slovencev do Slovenske vojske. Namen magistrskega dela je ugotoviti, ali razmerje med poznavanjem slovenske vojaške zgodovine in odnosom Slovencev do Slovenske vojske sploh obstaja, ter pojasniti, kako prvi vpliva na drugega. S pomočjo strokovne literature je pripravljen teoretični pregled slovenske vojaške zgodovine od konca 19. stol. do sodobnosti. V praktičnem delu magistrsko delo ugotavlja, kakšen sploh je odnos Slovencev do Slovenske vojske. Na podlagi anket in intervjujev delo preučuje, ali se v praksi odnos do Slovenske vojske sklada z javnomnenjskimi raziskavami, nato ugotavlja, ali na ta odnos vpliva poznavanje slovenske vojaške zgodovine in kako. Nazadnje magistrsko delo išče vzroke za tak odnos.

Secondary abstract:	The master's thesis examines the influence of knowledge of Slovenian military history on the attitude of Slovenians towards the Slovenian Armed Forces. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether there is a relationship between the knowledge of Slovenian military history and the attitude of Slovenians towards the Slovenian Armed Forces, and to explain how the former influences the latter. With the help of literature, a theoretical overview of Slovenian military history from the late 19th century to the present is given. In the practical part, the master's thesis determines the attitude of Slovenians towards the Slovenian Armed Forces. Based on surveys and interviews, the thesis examines whether, in practice, attitudes towards the Slovenian Armed Forces are consistent with opinion polls, and then determines whether and how these attitudes are influenced by knowledge of Slovenian military history. Finally, the thesis seeks to identify the reasons for such attitudes.
