Abstract

Umetnostno-kulturna vzgoja tvori pomemben del izobraževanja, saj je temelj za skladen in uravnotežen otrokov razvoj ter za razvoj duševnega zdravja. Namen empiričnega diplomskega dela je proučiti kulturno-umetnostni status vzgojiteljev, mnenja vzgojiteljev o vključenosti kulturno-umetnostnih področij v načrtovani in izvedbeni kurikul in njihova mnenja o uresničevanju ciljev kulturno-umetnostne vzgoje v vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu. Rezultati kažejo, da vzgojitelji duhovnim in kulturnim ter estetskim vrednotam ne pripisujejo velikega pomena. Vzgojitelji menijo, da bi morali v vrtcu več pozornosti posvetiti uprizoritveni in glasbeni umetnosti ter kulturni dediščini in da učenci v osnovni šoli v prostem času največ pozornosti posvečajo popularni in zabavni glasbi. Vzgojitelji pri svojem delu pogosto uresničujejo večina ciljev kulturno-umetnostne vzgoje. Manj pozornosti posvečajo ciljem kot npr. razumevanje kulturne raznolikosti, razvijanje zavesti o kulturni identiteti, spoznavanje kultur drugih narodov, izražanje lastne kulture. Menijo, da lahko sledijo ciljem kulturno-umetnostne vzgoje pri večini področij dejavnosti Kurikula za vrtce.

Secondary abstract: The cultural-artistic education is an important part of education, since it is a foundation for a balanced development of children and for the development of our mental health. The empirical part of this thesis will investigate the cultural-artistic status of teachers, opinions from the teachers on the inclusion in the cultural-artistic fields in the planned and implemented curriculum and their opinions on the realization of the goals of the cultural-artistic education process. The results show that the teachers do not attribute a lot of meaning to the spiritual, cultural and aesthetic values. The teachers believe that in the kindergarten more attention should be paid to the performance and musical art and to the cultural heritage and that pupils in primary schools pay the most attention to popular and entertaining music. Teachers mainly realize the majority of the goals of the cultural-artistic education. They pay less attention to the goals such as understanding the cultural diversity, developing the awareness of the cultural identity, learning about cultures of other nations and expressing of their own culture. They believe that they can follow the goals of the cultural-artistic education in the majority of the activity areas in the curriculum for the kindergartens.
