Abstract

Cilj diplomskega dela je prodreti v razmerje med besedo in podobo ter, izvirajoč iz osnovnega namena, prikazati, kako pomembno vzgojno sredstvo so kakovostno oblikovani učbeniki in z njimi povezani didaktični pripomočki. Teoretični del diplomskega dela primerjalno obravnava učbenike za šoloobvezne otroke, ki so izšli v Sloveniji, in tiste, ki so izšli v Italiji, od povojnih let naprej (1946-1985), s posebnim poudarkom na kakovosti ilustracij. Diplomsko delo v drugem delu predstavlja raziskovanje in ugotavljane likovne kakovosti ilustracij, učbenikov, ki jih je ilustriral Klavdij Palčič in Abecedo, kot didaktični pripomoček, vezano na berilo Čebelica. Praktični del zajema lastno produkcijo ilustracij - Novo abecedo za otroke prvih razredov, abecedo kot didaktični pripomoček, ki temelji na raziskovalnem delu, upoštevajoč nov način opismenjevanja. Čeprav tako v slovenskem kot v širšem mednarodnem prostoru v zadnjih letih namenjamo veliko pozornosti ilustraciji, jo največkrat vrednotimo kot samostojno ustvarjalno delo in jo ocenjujemo z estetskega vidika, le poredkoma se je lotevamo celovito z ozirom na povezavo med podobo in besedo.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the thesis is to investigate the relationship between words and their meanings as well as to depict the importance of good quality learning textbooks and other such associated tools. The theoretical thesis compares textbooks for obligatory pupils that were published in Slovenia to ones that were published in Italy after the war period. Special attention is given to the illustrational work. The thesis includes research and finding out the artistic quality of the illustrations and the textbooks themselves, which were done by Klavdij Palčič. The work Abeceda was a didactic method of learning and was associated to the textbook Čebelica The latter was namely also used as a subject of analysis. The second part of the research includes the self-published works. A new alphabet for first year primary school children and an alphabet used as a didactic tool that is based on research taking into account a new descriptive method of learning. Although a lot of attention has been brought to illustrations in Slovenia as well as abroad it is often assessed as individual creative work. It valued from an artistic point of view and seldom do we see it being tied together to the work as a whole.
