Abstract

Arterijska hipertenzija je eden izmed glavnih vzrokov prezgodnje smrti na svetu. Med najpomembnejše dejavnike tveganja sodijo prekomerna telesna teža, nezdrav način prehranjevanja, prehrana s prekomerno vsebnostjo soli, starost, pomanjkanje telesne aktivnosti in prekomerno uživanje alkoholnih pijač. Sprememba življenjskega sloga lahko vpliva na znižanje vrednosti krvnega tlaka. V zaključnem delu nas je zanimalo, kako mediteranska prehrana vpliva na krvni tlak pri ljudeh z diagnosticirano arterijsko hipertenzijo.

Secondary abstract: Arterial hypertension is one of the main causes of early death in the world. A high-risk factor is overweight, having an unhealthy diet, a diet with an excessive salt content, older age, lack of physical activity, and excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages. Changing lifestyles can help lower blood pressure. In the thesis, we were interested in the impact of the mediterranean diet on blood pressure in people with diagnosed arterial hypertension.
