Poznavanje alternativ plastične embalaže v Republiki Sloveniji

Abstract

Plastična embalaža obstaja že vrsto let in je tesno povezana z življenjem ljudi. Plastična embalaža so izdelki, ki opravljajo funkcijo embalaže. Ne glede na svoje prednosti predstavlja vedno večji globalni problem zaradi svoje nerazgradljivosti. Zato je potrebno poiskati alternativne embalaže, ki so okolju in nam bolj prijazne in imajo potencial popolnoma nadomestiti plastično embalažo. Takšnih alternativ je vedno več, največji potencial pa imajo alternative, kot so embalaža iz bioplastike, gob, sladkornega trsa, trave in mlečnih beljakovin. V diplomskem delu smo izvedli anketo, katere namen je bil ugotoviti, kako so ljudje seznanjeni o nevarnosti plastične embalaže in kako so seznanjeni o obstoječih alternativah.

Secondary abstract:	Plastic packaging has been around for many years and is closely linked to people's lives. Plastic packaging is a product that performs a packaging function. Despite its advantages, it is a growing global problem due to its non-degradability. That is why we need to start looking for alternative packaging that is better for the environment and better for us, and has the potential to completely replace plastic packaging. Such alternatives are increasing, but the greatest potential lies in alternatives such as packaging made from bioplastics, mushrooms, sugar cane, grass and milk proteins. In the thesis, we conducted a survey to find out how people are informed about the dangers of plastic packaging and how they are informed about the alternatives available.
