Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljen problem nehomogenega kaljenja v kalilnih bazenih. Problem je obravnavan na kalilnem bazenu v podjetju proizvodnje jeklenih materialov. Postopek kaljenja, obratovanje in geometrija kalilnega bazena so natančno opisani. Sledijo analitični preračuni prenosa toplote, ki zajemajo postopek ohlajanja obdelovanca v bazenu, ter prestop toplote iz vode v kalilnem bazenu na zunanji zrak, glede na gladino bazena in njegovo zunanjo steno. Izdelana je numerična simulacija procesa kaljenja, katere rezultati se primerjajo z analitično določenimi rezultati dinamike ohlajanja obdelovanca. S pomočjo numerične simulacije se izvede postopek iskanja konstrukcijskih izboljšav kalilnega bazena. Pri teh ugotovimo, da se postopek kaljenja izboljšuje s povečanjem kota med šobami, ki dovajajo vodo v kalilni bazen ter s spreminjanjem njihove dolžine.

Secondary abstract: |
The thesis presents the problem of non-uniform quenching in quenching tanks. The problem is addressed in the context of a quenching tank in a steel manufacturing company. The quenching process, operation, and geometry of the quenching tank are described in detail. This is followed by analytical heat transfer calculations, which include the cooling process of the workpiece in the tank and the heat transfer from the water in the quenching tank to the external air, considering both the surface and the outer wall. A numerical simulation of the quenching process is conducted, and the results are compared with the analytically determined results of the workpiece cooling dynamics. The numerical simulation aids in the process of seeking structural improvements for the quenching tank. Through these efforts, it is determined that the quenching process improves by increasing the angle between the nozzles that supply water to the quenching tank and by adjusting their length. |
