magistrsko delo
Abstract
V magistrski nalogi smo vrednotili eno akcesijo liburnijskega šetraja (Satureja subspicata subsp. liburnica Bartl. ex Vis.) (BFL-1) in osem akcesij kraškega šetraja (Satureja montana L.) (BFL-2 – BFL-9). Populacije šetraja, slovenskega izvora, so bile generativno razmnožene in posajene na Laboratorijsko polje Biotehniške fakultete, Univerze v Ljubljani. Ocenjevali smo morfološke lastnosti 10 naključno izbranih rastlin iz vsake akcesije, določili vsebnost EO z destilacijo EO s Clevenger aparatom in izvedli analizo kemičnih sestavin eteričnega olja s GC/MS. Izvedena so bila štiri vrednotenja (2018 – 2021). Vrednotene morfološke lastnosti so bile širina in višina grma, število poganjkov na grm, barva listov in stebla, odstotek cvetenja, barva cvetov, prisotnost in gostota listnih žlez, način rasti in intenziteta pojavnosti kloroze. Primerjava vrst je pokazala, da se liburnijski šetraj od kraškega šetraja razlikuje v barvi cvetov. Ugotovljene so bile medpopulacijske in medvrstne razlike v odstotku cvetenja in pojavnosti kloroze.

Evaluation of genetic resources, essential oil content and determination of chemical components of essential oil of winter savory (Satureja montana L.) and liburnian savory (Satureja subspicata subsp. liburnica Bartl. ex Vis.) |
Secondary abstract: |
Savory populations evaluated in this master thesis, originated from seeds of various slovenian populations. They were multiplied and transplanted to The Laboratory field of Biotechnical Faculty of University of Ljubljana with the aim of assessing the natural variations in morphological characteristics of above ground plant parts among different populations and species. Furthermore essential oil content has been determinated by three hours hydro - distillation with Clevenger apparatus and chemical composition analyzed by GC/MS. Evaluation has been conducted in one accession of liburnian savory (Satureja subspicata subsp. liburnica Bartl. ex Vis.) and eight accessions of winter savory (Satureja montana L.) over a period of four years (2018 - 2021). The following morfological parameters were observed: shrub length and height, stem shoot density, leaf and stem colour, width of inflorescence, flower petals colour, blooming percentage, gland presense and density, plant grow habit and chlorosis. Comparison of studied accessions showed inter- and intra- population as well as intraspecies variabilities regarding flower petal colour, essential oil content, appearance of chlorosis and blooming percentage. The highest essential oil content was determinated in BFL-9 - accession of winter savory (21.19 ml/kg) and the lowest in liburnian savory (0.82 ml/kg). The most frequently represented compounds in analyzed essential oils were p-cymene, thymol, thymol methyl ether, β-caryophyllene, γ-terpinene and α-terpinene. |
