Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo raziskovali čustveno inteligentnost vzgojiteljic/vzgojiteljev predšolskih otrok. Zanimalo nas je, kaj sploh je čustvena inteligentnost, kako se razvija. Dotaknili smo se se razvoja čustev, tako temeljnih kot kompleksnejših. Ob tem smo raziskali 13 področij oz. dimenzij čustvene inteligentnosti. Prav tako so nas zanimale osebnostne značilnosti vzgojiteljev. Pri empiričnem delu je sodelovalo 80 vzgojiteljic iz štirih različnih slovenskih vrtcev. V vprašalniku je bilo 30 postavk iz treh različnih sklopov (zaznavanje lastnih čustev, izražanje lastnih čustev in prepoznavanje čustev pri drugih). Pri obdelavi podatkov sem vprašalnik razdelila na tri dele glede na delovno dobo, saj me je zanimalo ali se stopnja čustvene inteligentnosti glede na delovno dobo zvišuje. Rezultati so pokazali, da vzgojitelji pri višji delovni dobi bolje zaznavajo in izražajo svoja čustva, malo manj pa prepoznavajo čustva pri drugih.

In this diploma paper, the emotional intelligence of pre-school teachers was researched. The question was what emotional intelligence is and how it develops. The development of emotions, basic and complex was briefly mentioned. In adition to that, 13 areas and dimensions respectfully were researched and I was also interested in personality traits of pre-school teachers. The empirical part included 80 pre-school teachers from four different Slovenian kindergartens. The questionnaire included 30 outlays from three different sets; one from perception of one's own emotions, the second from expressing one's own emotions and the third from recognition of emotions in others. When processing the data, the questionnaire was divided into three parts according to the period of employment since I wanted to determine whether the degree of emotional intelligence raises in relation to the period of employment. The results have shown that the pre-school teachers with a longer period of employment perceive and express their emotions better but their recognition of emotions in others is lower. |
