Secondary title: | Vibration fatigue of battery cells |
Secondary abstract: | After reading through the relevant field literature, we setup the experimental site and prepared the measurement plans for testing the effect of vibration fatigue on LFP cell capacity. We also checked the natural frequencies of the system with added weights. The cell fixture was constructed in a way to force the first bending modal shape. The test was done at different acceleration amplitudes and we had an extra control cell. Additionally, we prepared a simplified 3D model to analyse the mechanical stress state of the cell. Results showed a visible effect of vibration fatigue on both the maximum capacity and kept capacity throughout the test. The stress model displayed the mechanical stress state inside the cell. |
