Abstract

Uvod: Ogljikov monoksid je eden izmed najnevarnejših plinov. Namen zaključnega dela je bil raziskati nevarnost ogljikovega monoksida in intervencije zdravstvene nege, ki jih medicinske sestre izvajajo ob zastrupitvi z ogljikovim monoksidom. Metode: Izvedli smo pregled literature. Iskanje je potekalo v tujih podatkovnih bazah: CINAHL (EBSCO), ScienceDirect, PubMed, Cochrane Library in dodatno v iskalniku Google Učenjak. Potek pregleda smo predstavili s pomočjo PRISMA diagramom, moč dokazov presojali s pomočjo hierarhije dokazov. Uporabili smo deskriptivni pristop in vsebinsko analizo. Izvedemo ABCDE pristop, izvajamo TPO, če je to potrebno, in apliciramo 100 % kisik takoj, ko je to mogoče. V kliničnem okolju so v ospredju obravnave terapije zdravljenja, kot sta npr. HBOT in aplikacija kisika po visoko-tlačni nosni kanili.

Secondary title: Nursing interventions for carbon monoxide poisoning
Secondary abstract: Introduction: Carbon monoxide is one of the most dangerous gases. The aim of thesis was to investigate the danger of carbon monoxide and the nursing interventions that nurses perform in the event of carbon monoxide poisoning. Methods: We have conducted a literature review. The searches were conducted in foreign databases such as CINAHL (EBSCO), ScienceDirect, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and additionally in Google Scholar. The review was presented using a PRISMA diagram and the strength of evidence was ranked using the hierarchy of evidence. We presented the analysis and synthesis using a descriptive approach. Results: In total, 48 results were identified, and seven studies were included in the final analysis. We developed the main category of nursing intervention for carbon monoxide poisoning, which includes the subcategories of carbon monoxide poisoning, nursing interventions in the clinical setting and in the field, and forms of therapies for carbon monoxide poisoning. Discussion and conclusion: The results demonstrated the importance of nursing interventions both field at the scene of the emergency and in the clinical setting. In the event of poisoning, field response and safety are important. We perform an ABCDE approach, TPO if necessary and apply 100 % oxygen as soon as possible. In the clinical environment, treatment therapies such as HBOT and oxygen administration via high-pressure nasal cannula take precedence in treatment.
