Secondary abstract: | The paper addresses the linguistic variety jargon. The focus is on the differences between the common and linguistic use of the term, and the differences in the position of jargon in Slovene and English linguistic theory. Some concepts are presented and discussed which are considered as jargon in English linguistics while in Slovene linguistics they have not yet been sufficiently taken into account. |
