Abstract

Diplomsko delo sestavljajo trije deli. Najprej je v teoretičnih osnovah opisana vsaka komponenta posebej. Sledi uporaba komponent in izvedba simulacij v okolju LTspice in njihova analiza.

Secondary title: Design and implementation of the electronic system for driving DC motors
Secondary abstract: Automotive industry produces enormous amounts of products on a yearly basis and employs people in all parts of the world, including Slovenia. Many global automobile brands either install Slovenian products or utilise Slovenian knowledge, which improves the quality of the driving experience. Fast market and global economy changes cause the whole industry to transform very quickly. Companies that want a slice of the cake therefore must adapt quickly and follow the trends. In this thesis, modular approach to development of the final product for driving DC motor to be used in automotive industry is described. A company develops an elementary module which certainly obeys all the standards of the industry and on which it later comes to the final product with minimal modifications of the foundation through the customer’s demands. The Thesis is comprised of three parts. First, each component is described separately on the theoretical basis, followed by the use of the components, execution of simulations in LTspice environment and their analysis. Towards the end, production of the printed matter and comparison of different variants of the circuits are described. All utilised components are certified by the AEC-200 standard and are consequently appropriate for utilisation in applications in automotive industry.
