Secondary abstract: | Radio presenters directly address their audiences, creating a strong bond between them and the radio station. They attempt to overcome the physical distance by using spoken language that fits the expectations and reactions of the listeners, as well as the requirements of certain radio programmes and radio stylistics. The paper examines which characteristics of informal and standard Slovene are used in radio presenters' speech and the role of language style. |
