Abstract

V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljeni in opisani pojmi izobraževalna tehnologija, množični mediji, podrobneje so predstavljeni učni mediji, multimediji in učni prostor. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela je prikazana uporaba medijev pri pouku, pomembnost ter pogostost vključevanja le-teh v pouk, kateri medij učitelji najpogosteje izberejo, kako pogosto uporabijo internet pri pouku in s kakšnim namenom in ali so se učitelji pripravljeni dodatno usposabljati za pravilno uporabo medijev pri pouku. Uporabili smo deskriptivno in kavzalno-ne eksperimentalno metodo raziskovanja. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da učitelji aktivno vključujejo medije v vzgojno-izobraževalni proces. Večina učiteljev le-te uporablja večkrat tedensko pri pouku. Najpogosteje jih uporabijo z namenom, da učencem predstavijo učno snov natančno in nazorno. Računalnik je tisti medij, ki ga učitelji najpogosteje uporabijo pri pouku. Raziskava nas opozarja, da je število učiteljev, ki uporablja internet kot učni medij pri pouku, zelo veliko. Uporabljajo ga predvsem za prikaz slik in videoposnetkov. Večina učiteljev se je pripravljena dodatno usposabljati za pravilno uporabo medijev pri pouku.

Secondary title: THE USE OF TEACHING MEDIA IN TEACHING
Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part of the thesis concepts of education technology and mass media are introduced and described, whereas learning media, multimedia and learning space are presented in details. In the empirical part of the thesis a use of media in teaching, importance and frequency of media integration into teaching, which medium is mostly used by teachers, how frequently and what purpose with Internet is used in teaching and finally, if teachers are prepared to be additionally educated for the correct use of media in teaching, are shown. We have used a descriptive and causal-non-experimental research method. The results of the research have shown that teachers involve media actively into the educational process. Most of teachers use them in teaching several times a week. Mainly they are used with a purpose of presenting learning material accurately and clearly. A computer is the medium which teachers use the most frequently in teaching. The research warns us that the number of teachers who use Internet as a learning medium is very high. It is mainly used for the presentation of various pictures and videos. Most of teachers are prepared to be additionally educated and trained in the field of correct use of media in teaching.
