Abstract

V empiričnem delu smo s testom KTK spremljali razvoj koordinacije otrok starih 5-6 let v obdobju 6 mesecev. Neslučajnostni vzorec iz konkretne populacije otrok so predstavljali otroci stari 5-6 let vrtca Najdihojca Hajdina. Otroke smo testirali dvakrat, in sicer prvič v novembru 2022 in drugič v aprilu 2023.

Secondary title: Monitoring the coordination development of 5 to 6-year-old children
Secondary abstract: In the diploma work entitled Monitoring the development of coordination of 5 to 6-year-old children, as part of the theoretical part, motor development and the development of movement skills are presented by gender. The KTK coordination and test are also presented. In the empirical part we monitored the development of coordination of children aged 5 to 6 years over a period of 6 months, with the KTK test. The non-random sample of the specific population of children was represented by 5- and 6-year-old children in the Najdihojca Hajdina kindergarten. We tested the children twice, the first time in November 2022 and the second time in April 2023. The purpose of the thesis was to monitor the development of coordination in children aged 5 to 6 years. The Diploma work followed the set goal, to find out if there is a difference in coordination between five- to six-year-old girls and boys, and in what extent their coordination developed in six months. Based on the results, that were obtained by using the t-test for independent samples, we concluded that the boys’ coordination results were better at the initial and final testing. Using the t-test for dependent samples, we came to the conclusion that coordination improved in girls and deteriorated in boys after a period of six months.
