diplomsko delo
Abstract

Development of the nursing profession in the 19th and early 20th century |
Secondary abstract: |
In the thesis, we present the development of nursing from the beginning of the 19th century, when it was not yet considered a profession, until the beginning of the 20th century, when nurses began to fight for the legal regulation of the profession. In our work, we present important individuals and groups, who contributed to the development of health care from being a profession for paupers and those who had no choice to a profession that includes upper class individuals. We have focused on nursing in hospitals, however we devote a few words to work in workhouses and district nursing. |
