Abstract

Prodaja električnih vozil se je s pomočjo oglaševanja okoljevarstva, izboljšanja infrastrukture in obljube manjših stroškov vzdrževanja v zadnjih letih povišala. V diplomski nalogi želimo ugotoviti in predstaviti, kakšen vpliv na okolje ima električni avtomobil skozi celoten življenjski cikel in kateri dejavniki pripomorejo k njegovi večji čistosti. Raziskali smo, kako poteka pridobivanje surovin, ki so potrebne za sestavo baterije in permanentnih magnetov. Primerjali smo električne avtomobile z avtomobili z motorji z notranjim izgorevanjem v času uporabe glede na njihove emisije CO2 oziroma emisije vira energije in emisije trdnih delcev. Poleg omenjene primerjave smo raziskali tudi druge tipe vozil, ki uporabljajo elektriko kot vir energije, ter kakšne so možnosti reciklaže in kako se ravna z odsluženimi baterijami. S pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika smo preverili, ali se ljudje zavedajo celotnega vpliva električnega avtomobila na okolje.

Secondary abstract: Over the past few years, the sales of electric vehicles have surged due to the influence of environmental advertising, infrastructure advancements, and the promise of reduced maintenance costs. Our thesis aims to analyze and present the environmental consequences of electric vehicles throughout their entire life cycle, while identifying the factors that contribute to their environmental cleanliness. We will delve into the extraction of raw materials necessary for battery and permanent magnet production. Our investigation will focus on comparing electric vehicles to internal combustion engine vehicles in terms of CO2 emissions, energy source emissions, and particulate matter emissions during usage. Furthermore, we will explore alternative electric-powered vehicle types. Recycling possibilities and the proper management of spent batteries will also be examined. Additionally, through a questionnaire survey, we intend to evaluate public awareness regarding the overall environmental impact of electric vehicles.
