Abstract

Secondary title: Robotic welding of tubular steel welded joints
Secondary abstract: The objective of the diploma thesis was to investigate and evaluate the efficiency and quality of the automated welding process in joining tubular steel elements. Emphasis was placed on comparing traditional manual welding methods with modern robotic welding. We analyzed how mechanical properties, such as hardness and toughness of welds, change with the use of robotic welding. We also studied the microhardness of various areas of the welded joint, including the base material, heat-affected zone, and the weld itself. The study also addressed the importance of proper material preparation before welding and the optimization of welding equipment parameters.
