Abstract

V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni muzeji na Slovenskem ter njihove muzejske zbirke kot del slovenske kulturne zgodovine. Na začetku so opredeljeni pojmi, kot so muzej, muzejski predmet in muzeologija. Temu sledi prikaz razvoja muzejev v posameznih kulturnozgodovinskih obdobjih, kar da vedeti, da je muzejska misel pri nas začela zoreti že zelo zgodaj in da so njeni dosežki v veliko primerih primerljivi evropskim. Predstavila sem razvoj muzejske mreže na Slovenskem. Diplomsko delo vsebuje tudi konkretne primere muzejskih ustanov, ki danes delujejo na območju Slovenije. Podala sem nekaj statističnih podatkov slovenskih muzejev, ki jim sledi subjektiven izbor muzejev. V sklopu predstavitve posameznega muzeja je mogoče zaslediti podatke o nastanku muzeja in o njegovih zbirkah ter oddelkih. Muzejski predmeti posameznih muzejskih zbirk so predstavljeni kot del slovenske preteklosti.

Secondary abstract:	In diploma paper Slovenian museums and their museum collections as a part of Slovenian cultural history are represented. At the beginning I have represented expressions as museum, museum object, museology. After this there is a presentation of museums development through single cultural history periods, which helps us understand that thinking about museums started to ripen very early, and that our museums are in most cases comparable with European ones. I introduced the development of Slovenian museum network, which consists of origin of museum society, which has already in those times had problems with acquiring public financial assets. In diploma paper there are also concrete examples of museums that are working in Slovenia today. I have represented some statistic data, and after that I made a subjective selection of museums. In the part, where an individual museum is represented, we can find data about museum's beginnings, collections and sections. Museum objects in individual museum collections are represented as a part of the past, and are showing us how our ancestors lived.
