Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo primerjali učinkovitost dveh pasivnih protipožarnih zaščit, in sicer protipožarnih premazov in požarno odpornih plošč. To smo naredili tako, da smo te aplicirali na jekleno halo dimenzij 10 × 20 m in jo dimenzionirali na projektno požarno stanje R60 z uporabo EUROCODE standardov. Ugotovili smo, da se s protipožarnimi premazi objekt poruši zaradi prevelike temperature jekla. Medtem se pa jeklo pri uporabi požarno odpornih plošč segreje na bistveno nižjo temperaturo in s tem ne pride do porušitve. Primerjava med obema sistemoma poudarja pomembnost pravilne izbire protipožarne zaščite ob upoštevanju specifičnosti konstrukcije. Diplomsko delo predstavlja teoretično znanje v praktični uporabi ter ponuja dodatne informacije pri izbiri zaščite za prihodnje projekte.

Secondary title: Comparison between fire protection coating and fire protection panels in the fire performance analysis of a steel hall
Secondary abstract: In this research, we compared the effectiveness of two passive fire protection-systems, i.e. fire-resistant coatings and fire-resistant panels. We applied these systems on a steel hall with dimensions of 10 × 20 m and dimensioned it to the fire rwsistance class R60 in accordance with EUROCODE standards. We found out that with fire-protection coatings, the building collapses due to the excessive temperature of the steel. Meanwhile, when fire-resistant panels are used, the steel remains significantly lower temperature and thus collapse does not occur. With this research we emphasize the importance of the correct choice of fire protection in the specific structure. The research applies theoretical knowledge to practical application and offers additional information when choosing protection for future projects.
