Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je bil pobliže spoznati pomen ravnateljevanja in njegovega vplivanja na kakovost vzgojno-izobraževalnega procesa. S pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika je bila izvedena raziskava na vzorcu 170-ih učiteljev. Z deskriptivno in kavzalno-neeksperimentalno metodo empiričnega pedagoškega raziskovanja je bilo preučeno mnenje učiteljev o vplivu ravnateljevega značaja in stila vodenja na kakovost vzgojno-izobraževalnega procesa, njegovem vplivu na odnos med starši učencev in šolo ter družbenim okoljem, ravnateljevem vplivu na šolsko klimo in na uvajanje sprememb. V okviru tega pa še obstoj razlik glede na delovno dobo in delovno mesto učiteljev.

Secondary title: Headmastership and quality of the educational process in primary schools
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the graduation thesis was to take a closer look at the significance of headmastership and its influence on the quality of the education system. A research was carried out by means of a questionnaire on a sample of 170 teachers. By using a descriptive and causal non-experimental method of empirical pedagogic research approach, the opinion of teachers about the effect of a headmaster's character and management style on the quality of the education system was studied, as well as their influence on the relationship among the students' parents, school and social environment, and the headmaster's influence on school atmosphere and on implementing changes. Within this framework, the existence of differences with regard to the length of service and the teacher job roles was also studied.
