Abstract

Energija iz obnovljivih virov je ukrep pridobivanja čiste energije, ki je potreben za varstvo okolja. Izkoriščenost obnovljivih virov energije je nizka zaradi slabih podpornih shem, težav in neodobravanja umestitve tehnologij v prostor in težav pri prenosu energije na zastarelo električno infrastrukturo. Delo temelji na uporabi deskriptivne in komparativne metode. Glavni namen teh metod je predstaviti stanje na področju energije iz obnovljivih virov. Slovenija dosega cilj 25 odstotne bruto končne porabe energije iz OVE za leto 2020. V letu 2021 je delež sicer ostal enak, vendar je Slovenija na dobri poti k doseganju cilja 27 odstotnega deleža bruto končne porabe energije do leta 2030, katerega bo dosegla s pomočjo Načrta za za okrevanje in krepitev odpornosti, ki je nastal kot odgovor na pandemijo COVID-19. Načrt 'Pripravljeni na 55' določa cilj najmanj 10 odstotnega deleža energije iz OVE v sektorju prometa za leto 2020, kar je Švedska dosegla z rekordnim 30,42 odstotnim deležem, Slovenija pa je dosegla 10,9 odstotni delež. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da je Švedska vodilna država v Evropski uniji na področju rabe obnovljivih virov energije, medtem ko se Slovenija v primerjavi z EU-27 nahaja na 11 mestu. Delo obsežno predstavi stanje energije iz OVE, našo zmoto o (ne)odvisnost od uvoza fosilnih goriv in pomanjkanje državne podpore za razvoj OVE, zato bi lahko koristilo stroki za pripravljanje ukrepov za izboljšanje stanja. Omejitev dela se izraža v obširni temi in hitro spreminjajoči energetski politiki. Laični javnosti lahko delo pomaga z vidika lažjega razumevanja tematike in lažje predstave potrebnih ukrepov za prehod k brezogljicni družbi.

Secondary title: Analysis of measures for the use of renewable energy sources at the European Union level and Republic of Slovenia
Secondary abstract: Energy from renewable sources is a measure of obtaining clean energy which is necessary for environmental protection. The utilization of renewable energy sources is low due to inadequate support schemes, difficulties in implementation its technology in space and public disapproval, and problems with transmitting energy to outdated electrical infrastructure. The work is based on the use of descriptive and comparative methods. The main purpose of these methods is to present the state of energy from renewable sources. Slovenia has achieved the target of a 25% share of gross final energy consumption from renewables by 2020. In 2021, the share remained the same, but Slovenia is on track to achieve the goal of a 27% share of gross final energy consumption by 2030, which will be accomplished with the help of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The "Fit for 55" plan sets a target of at least a 10% share of energy from renewables in the transport sector by 2020, which Sweden has achieved with a record 30.42% share, while Slovenia reached a 10.9% share. It was found that Sweden is the leading country in the European Union in terms of renewable energy use, while Slovenia ranks 11th among the EU-27 countries. The work extensively presents the state of renewable energy, our misconception about (in)dependence on fossil fuel imports, and the lack of government support for renewable energy development. Therefore, it could benefit experts in preparing measures to improve the situation. The limitation of the work lies in the extensive topic and rapidly changing energy policies. The work can help the general public by providing easier understanding of the subject matter and a clearer picture of the necessary measures for transitioning to a carbon-neutral society.
