Fenomen študija srbskih študentov v Sloveniji

Abstract

Cilj diplomskega dela je odkriti razloge, ki spodbujajo študente iz Srbije, da se odločijo za študij v Sloveniji. S pomočjo sintetične metode smo združili informacije iz različnih virov, ki so obravnavali to tematiko. Med ključnimi razlogi, ki so jih študentje izpostavili, je bila želja po boljših kariernih priložnostih in širših možnostih za zaposlitev po končanem študiju. Med anketiranjem 50 srbskih študentov, ki so študirali ali še vedno študirajo v Sloveniji, jih je 80 % odgovorilo, da je ključni razlog za izbiro študija v Sloveniji možnost, da njihova pridobljena diploma odpre številne poti v prihodnosti. To kaže na to, da je cilj izboljšanja kariernih možnosti eden od glavnih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na študentske migracije iz Srbije v Slovenijo. Poleg tega so študentje izpostavili tudi druge dejavnike, kot so kakovost izobraževanja, mednarodno okolje, dostop do raziskovalnih možnosti ter kulturna in jezikovna podobnost med Srbijo in Slovenijo. Vendar pa se je v večini odgovorov izkazalo, da je priložnost za boljšo karierno pot najpomembnejši motiv za njihovo odločitev. Skupaj s sintetično analizo in statističnimi podatki iz ankete te ugotovitve jasno kažejo, da študentje iz Srbije v Slovenijo migrirajo predvsem zaradi cilja, da bi pridobili kakovostno izobrazbo, ki jim bo odprla vrata do boljših priložnosti za karierno rast in uspeh v prihodnosti.

Secondary title:	The phenomenon of serbian students studying in slovenia
Secondary abstract:	The goal of this work is to discover the reasons that encourage students from Serbia to decide to study in Slovenia. Using the synthetic method, we combined information from various sources that dealt with this topic. Among the key reasons cited by the students was the desire for better career opportunities and broader job opportunities after graduation. During the survey of 50 Serbian students who studied or are still studying in Slovenia, we found that exactly 80% answered that the key reason for choosing to study in Slovenia is the possibility that their obtained degree will open many paths in the future. This indicates that the goal of improving career opportunities is one of the main factors affecting student migration from Serbia to Slovenia. In addition, the students highlighted other factors such as the quality of education, the international environment, access to research opportunities, and the cultural and linguistic similarity between Serbia and Slovenia. However, in the majority of responses, it turned out that the opportunity for a better career path was the most important motive for their decision. Together with the synthetic analysis and statistical data from the survey, these findings clearly show that students from Serbia migrate to Slovenia primarily for the purpose of obtaining a quality education that will open the door to better opportunities for career growth and success in the future.
