magistrsko delo
Abstract
Ob vse večji digitalizaciji sveta in popularnosti družbenih omrežij ter spletnih strani in po drugi strani vse zgodnejšem prejemu prvih elektronskih naprav z dostopom do interneta, se soočamo z vse večjim pojavom spletnega spolnega nasilja. Otroci so zanj pogosto premalo opolnomočeni in prepuščeni sami sebi v soočanju z njim. V teoretičnem delu smo definirali in opisali spolno, spletno in spletno spolno nasilje.

Online sexual violence among elementary school students |
Secondary abstract: |
With the increasing digitalization of the world and the popularity of social networks and websites, on the other hand, with the ever-earlier receipt of the first electronic devices with internet access, we are faced with an increasing phenomenon of online sexual violence. Children are often under-empowered and left to themselves in dealing with it. The aim of the master's thesis is to determine whether elementary school students experience and recognize online sexual violence. In the theoretical part, we defined and described sexual violence, online violence, and online sexual violence. In the empirical part, we were interested in whether students perceive online sexual violence as a problem they are confronted with. We were also interested in what forms of violence they experience, where they experience it, how they feel about it, who causes it, and what the consequences are.
A total of 174 students took part in this study. The results showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between hours spent using electronic devices with internet access and experiencing some forms of online sexual violence. We found out that girls experience more difficult feelings about this form of violence, while boys perceive online sexual violence far less emotionally. The study showed a correlation between the applications or websites used by elementary school students and the perpetrators of online sexual violence. The final finding of this study is that girls are more often aware than boys of the serious consequences of online sexual violence. |
