Abstract

V diplomskem delu "Vloga lutke v zgodnjem socialno-emocionalnem razvoju predšolskega otroka" smo predstavili vpliv lutke na otrokov čustven in socialni razvoj.

Secondary title: THE ROLE OF A PUPPET IN THE EARLY SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF A PRESCHOOL CHILD
Secondary abstract: In the thesis we have introduced the impact of a puppet on the child's emotional and social development. With a regular use of a puppet in the kindergarten it is easier for us to understand children's interests and needs. It is also easier to identify children's distress and emotions. In the first part we have discussed a child's development; we have introduced the key characteristics of the early development and researched the theoretical starting point of the emotional and social development. An adult plays a very important role in a child's development; the most influential are the parents and the immediate relatives, followed by kindergarten teachers and peer groups. The puppet was introduced as a didactic tool which can be used in kindergartens in many different ways. In the thesis we have defined different types of puppets which vary depending on their practical implementation. We have showed the role of the puppet, different ways of its usage, and introduced it as the means of integration between the adult and the child and also between the kindergarten and the home. In the second part we have defined the role of the puppet as the means of implementation of the priority task in the 1-2 year olds division in the Žalec kindergarten, Petrovče unit. We have met the puppet called Minka which was our daily companion for a while.
