Abstract

V diplomskem delu z naslovom Uporaba Facebooka v petem in devetem razredu osnovne šole sem predstavila značilnosti obdobja otroštva in mladostništva. Predstavila sem telesni razvoj in zdravje otrok in mladostnikov, opredelila odnose, ki nastajajo med vrstniki, prijatelji, sorojenci in družino. Opisala sem značilnosti, ki doletijo vsakega otroka na prehodu iz obdobja otroštva v obdobje mladostništva. Preučila sem vlogo staršev do otrok in mladostnikov. V empiričnem delu sem s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, na katerega so odgovarjali učenci petega in devetega razreda, zbrala podatke o tem, kako so seznanjeni s Facebookom, kdo jih je seznanil z njim, koliko časa preživijo na njem. Zanimalo me je tudi, v katere namene uporabljajo Facebook in kakšno mnenje imajo o ostalih uporabnikih Facebooka. V raziskavo sem vključila 185 učencev štirih različnih osnovnih šol (osnovne šole Apače, Negova, Radenci in Tišina). Rezultati so pokazali, da obstajajo razlike pri uporabi Facebooka glede na spol in razred učencev. Ugotovila sem, da so učenci osnovnih šol dobro seznanjeni s profilom Facebook.

Secondary abstract: In this diploma work titled Use of Facebook in the fifth and ninth grade of elementary school the characteristics of childhood and adolescence are presented. Physical development of children and adolescents and their health are presented as well as the relationship that is created between coevals, friends, siblings and family are defined. Characteristics that befall each child in the transition from childhood to adolescence are also represented. There is also a study of parents roll in childhood and adolescence. The empirical part was made with the help of a questionnaire which has been answered by students of 5th and 9th class. The questionnaire tried to give data concerning following questions: how the students are acquainted with Facebook, who acquainted them, how much time do they spend on Facebook, for which purposes they use Facebook and what is their opinion of other Facebook users. There were 185 students from four different primary schools (primary schools Apace, Negova, Radenci, Tišina) included in the research. The results have shown that there are differences in the usage of Facebook with regard to sex and class of students. There is also evident that students of primary schools are well acquainted with Facebook.
