Abstract

Zaključno delo zajema področje simulacije brizganja plastike. To je postopek virtualnega modeliranja procesa brizganja plastike v računalniškem okolju, ki vključuje analizo toplotne in tokovne dinamike materiala med postopkom brizganja. V začetku naloga predstavi področje brizganja plastike, na kratko opiše orodje in stroj, v jedru pa se osredotoči na simulacijo. Bistven pomen simulacije je prihranek na času, denarju in materialu. S simulacijo predvidimo morebitne napake, posledično pa s tem zmanjšamo izmet in povečamo kakovost proizvoda. Cilj naloge je določiti optimalno število dolivov za izbran izdelek (okvir vrat sušilnega stroja). Simulacije so izvedene s pomočjo programskega paketa Autodesk Moldflow Adviser. Na koncu so predstavljeni rezultati in moje ugotovitve.

Secondary abstract: This thesis covers the field of plastic injection moulding simulation. It is a process of virtually modeling the plastic injection moulding process in a computing platform, which includes analyzing the thermal and flow dynamics of the material during the injection moulding process. The thesis starts with an introduction to the field of plastic injection moulding, briefly describes the tool and the machine, and focuses on simulation in the main part. The essential importance of simulation lies in saving time, money, and materials. Through simulation, we predict possible errors, and as a result, we reduce waste and increase product quality. The goal of the task is to determine the optimum number of refills for a selected product (the door frame of a moulding machine). Simulations are conducted using the Autodesk Moldflow Adviser software package. The results and my conclusions are presented at the end.
