Secondary abstract: | Gear drives are a very important part of machines that serve to reduce or multiply rotational speed. They are used for robust as well as more precise drive systems. In this master thesis, we focused on the design and construction of a gear drive for an electric car. The design was carried out using analytical calculations and the Kisssoft computer programme. The results obtained from both calculations were finally compared with each other. The construction was carried out in Catia. The main objective was to achieve the optimum gear drive. In the master thesis, the theory of gear drives and computer simulations was discussed, as well as the design of a gear drive, supported by analytical and computational calculations. |
