Abstract

Secondary title: Design of a system for automated packaging of products
Secondary abstract: In this master thesis, we address the need to introduce an automated palletizing system in production lines of a company. We focus on the packaging of electric motor rotors, which are inserted into boxes. An overview of the types of internal packaging and competing solutions of palletizing machines is given. The most suitable concepts for handling and packaging rotors are selected. Based on these concepts, a prototype of a modular palletizing system or machine is designed, along with a dedicated 3D numerical model. Analytical and numerical FEM analyses are performed for critical elements. Standard pneumatic components and standard machine elements are integrated into the studied system, and a selection of these components based on analytical calculations and relevant literature is provided. Appropriate technical documentation has been prepared, based on which a working prototype of the investigated machine has been developed, which has already successfully passed the first tests.
