Secondary title: | Mechanical analysis of clamping frame in power transformers |
Secondary abstract: | The key component of the power transformer is the magnetic circuit, of which the yoke laths are the central structural element. These are the most stressed parts of the entire assembly, which is why we want to perform a mechanical analysis on them. In this assignment we performed a mechanical analysis whit finite element method. We analyzed threedimensional models of upper and lower yoke laths in the state of manipulation of the active part, when the loads are biggest. We concluded that the design of yoke laths for the project in question are mechanically suitable for use. We determined the locations of stress concentrations and defined some guidelines for the process of modeling yoke laths. |
