Abstract
Danes se učitelji vse bolj zavedajo, da vdor modernih tehnologij spreminja način podajanja znanj mladim. Vedno pogosteje vključujejo uporabo interaktivne table, različne video vsebine za popestritev in motivacijo mladih ter pri nas še ne tako razvite možnosti spletnega socialnega omrežja Facebook kot učnega orodja. Največjo pozornost smo namenili prav spletnemu socialnemu omrežju Facebook kot potencialnemu pripomočku za podajanje, razlaganje in utrjevanje šolskih vsebin. V teoretičnem delu smo obravnavali spletno socialno omrežje na splošno, njegov pomen, lastnosti in posebnosti, njegov vpliv na šolsko uspešnost dijakov, povezanost z njihovimi učitelji kot Facebook prijatelji ter nadzor staršev nad uporabo le-teh. Na osnovi pridobljenih informacij in opravljene empirične raziskave smo prišli do pomembnih zaključkov, kjer mladi, kot pričakovano, spletno socialno omrežje Facebook zelo dobro poznajo in ga uporabljajo za druženje s prijatelji, za zabavo in vedno bolj tudi za obveščanje o šolskih obveznostih kot so testi, referati, govorilne ure učiteljev in drugo. Čeprav posvetijo Facebooku veliko prostega časa, ni bilo zaznati, da bi prekomerna uporaba Facebooka zmanjšala njihov učni uspeh. Prav tako učitelji niso Facebook prijatelji z dijaki in obratno. Večjo participacijo smo pričakovali s strani staršev nad otroci pri nadzoru in pravilih uporabe spletnega socialnega omrežja Facebook. Konstruktivno vključitev Facebooka v šolsko okolje vidimo v večji ozaveščenosti in varnosti, tako s strani šole kot institucije, učiteljev in staršev, pri uporabi Facebooka ali v šolske namene ali pa za sprostitev mladih.

Nowadays, teachers are being aware that the invasions of modern technologies are increasingly changing the way we present knowledge to young people. More and more are using interactive whiteboards, a variety of video content for the enrichment and motivation of our learners and not yet fully developed online social network Facebook as a learning tool. Greatest attention was paid to online social network Facebook as a potential tool for presentation, interpretation and consolidation of school facilities. In the theoretical part, we dealt with online social networks in general, its importance, properties and characteristics, its impact on students school performance, the relationship with their teachers as facebook friends and parents control above children's use of Facebook. Based on the obtained information and an empirical study, we have come to important conclusions, where the young's, as expected, are familiar with the online social network Facebook and are using it for socializing with friends, for fun and moreover, to inform each other about school obligations such as tests, papers, contact hours of teachers and others. Although, they spent amount of time on Facebook, we could not detect that the excessive use of Facebook has any impact on their academic success. Moreover, teachers are not facebook friends with students and vice versa. We expected greater participation of parents above their children to control them and give them rules about the appropriate use of online social network Facebook. Constructive integrations of Facebook in school environment could be seen in a greater awareness and safety, both by the school as institution, teachers and parents in the use of Facebook for school purposes or for the entertainment of young people. |
