Abstract

Secondary title: Distance education in primary schools
Secondary abstract: The thesis covers the field of distance education in primary schools. It researches how the learning process took place during the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic. It mainly focuses on potential problems in distance education. We will research whether the teachers had any problems in the implementation of distance education and, if the answer is yes, what kind of problems. We will investigate whether the schools provided IT equipment to students who did not have the appropriate equipment for distance education. In addition to the beforementioned, we will also investigate how teachers motivated students to fulfill their school obligations and actively participate in lessons, how tests and knowledge assessments were conducted, which programs the teachers used for distance education, how they checked students' current work, such as homework or other obligations. The main purpose of the thesis is to investigate how distance education was carried out in primary schools and to find out where problems arose in its implementation. As part of the thesis, we will conduct an anonymous survey for primary school teachers in the Gorenjska region.
