Abstract

Secondary title: Design and development of a didactical model of process technology
Secondary abstract: The bachelor thesis will present the concept of process engineering, where it can be found and typical examples of its use Then, the design and production of the process engineering model is shown. The work will cover all elements and reasons for their use. The construction of the model and tanks is demonstrated using the Solidworks software environment. In the end, the programming of the model is shown, along with testing the program and the initial start-up. There were some limitations in making the model itself. Limitations appeared in the size of the model, since it is a desktop model, in the materials of the storage tanks and in the supply voltage of 24 V, which results from the connectivity with the industrial controller. Challenges were also present in the sensor selection, mainly due to their attachment to the tanks, and in the use of the controller, since a Siemens controller and the TIA Portal software environment were employed.
