Abstract
V diplomskem delu z naslovom Analiza primernosti vrtčevskega okolja za telesni in gibalni razvoj predšolskih otrok smo v teoretičnem delu predstavili različna okolja, ki se pojavijo v vrtcu. Dotaknili smo se tudi različnih didaktičnih sredstev, ki so pomembna za telesni razvoj otrok. Predstavili smo različne načine sodelovanja med starši in vzgojitelji. Opisali smo vlogo vzgojitelja in vlogo vrstnikov pri igri otrok. Na koncu pa smo opisali še dejavnike primernosti okolja za telesni in gibalni razvoj otrok. V empiričnem delu je bil naš namen analizirati in ugotoviti, ali je vrtčevsko okolje primerno za telesni in gibalni razvoj predšolskih otrok, pri čemer smo bili osredotočeni na podpiranje telesne dejavnosti in kritičnega mišljenja otrok ter odnos med starši/skrbniki in vzgojitelji. Analizo smo izvedli s pomočjo ocenjevalne lestvice gibalnega okolja otrok starih 2 do 6 let. Glavne ugotovitve so bile, da imajo vrtci v večini primerno okolje za telesni in gibalni razvoj, vendar se vseeno marsikje pojavljajo pomanjkljivosti, katere bi bilo potrebno izboljšati, da bi se otrokom zagotovilo še boljše okolje. Ugotovljeno je bilo tudi to, da se nekatere vzgojiteljice veliko bolj trudijo in spodbujajo telesni in gibalni razvoj kot druge ter da je odnos med starši/skrbniki in vzgojitelji v večini vrtcev med dobrim in odličnim.

In the diploma entitled Analysing the Adequancy of Kindergarten Environment for Physical and Motor Development of Pre-schoolers, we presented in the theoretical part different environments that occur in the kindergarten. We also touched on various didactic tools that are important for children's physical development. We have presented different ways of cooperation between parents and kindergarten teachers. We have described the role of the kindergarten teacher and the role of peers in children's play. At the end, we also described the suitability factors of the environment for the physical and movement development of children. In the empirical part, our aim was to analyze and determine whether the kindergarten environment is suitable for the physical and movement development of preschool children, focusing on supporting physical activity and critical thinking of children and the relationship between parents/caregivers and kindergarten teachers. The analysis was carried out using the Movement Environment Rating Scale (MOVERS) for 2-6 year-olds provision. The main findings were that the majority of kindergartens have a suitable environment for physical and movement development, but there are still many shortcomings that need to be improved in order to provide an even better environment for children. It was also established that some kindergarten teachers put in much more effort and encourage physical and movement development than others, and that the relationship between parents/ caregivers and kindergarten teachers in most kindergartens is between good and excellent. |
