diplomsko delo visokošolskega študijskega programa Informacijska varnost
Abstract
Vzporedno s tem želimo opredeliti ključne rešitve in predloge, s katerimi bomo ohranili visoko stopnjo zasebnosti, varnosti in etičnosti vozil.

Cybersecurity in the smart automotive industry |
Secondary abstract: |
The topic of cybersecurity in the smart automotive industry is one of the most pressing issues in the automotive sector, as advancements in technology lead to an increase in threats that pose risks to both users and companies. Prevention and analysis of cyberattacks are crucial to mitigating these risks. Data within the automotive system, such as vehicle location and speed, are sensitive and can be compromised if mishandled, resulting in severe consequences for both the driver and the organization. Effective cyber-attacks can have far-reaching negative effects on the economy, security, and legal aspects, as well as jeopardizing the reputation of vehicle manufacturers.
Ensuring security is a fundamental value and mission of modern global corporations because they act as catalysts for generating malicious programs, codes, and attacks. Upgrading and updating the production process are becoming increasingly essential to protect against threats. Manufacturing must rely on security protocols that incorporate elements of artificial intelligence as a countermeasure to its negative impacts.
The purpose of this final work is to outline the aspects of security incidents that may arise due to the use of malicious software generated by humans or machines. Concurrently, we aim to identify key solutions and proposals to maintain high levels of privacy, security, and ethical standards in vehicles.
In the subsequent sections, we interpret the survey questionnaire to analyze and synthesize the user experience based on the respondents' perspectives as drivers and individuals who value privacy. The goal is to examine the participants' attitudes towards smart vehicles from a dual perspective, considering their roles both as drivers and as subjects who value their privacy. |
