Abstract

V diplomskem delu je predstavljena zgodovina Krimskega polotoka vse od antike pa do današnjega dogajanja na tem obmocju. Pri tem so obravnavane vse tvorbe, ki so skozi zgodovino obstajale na ozemlju Krimskega polotoka. Poseben poudarek je namenjen krimski vojni, ki je potekala med letoma 1853 in 1856 in v kateri so sodelovale Rusija, Otomansko cesarstvo, Francija in Velika Britanija. Zaradi krimske vojne je polotok postal svetovno znan. Diplomska naloga se posveti tudi sodobnemu dogajanju, v katerega sta vpleteni Rusija in Ukrajina, ki sta trenutno v vojni, ki poteka od februarja 2022.

Secondary abstract: This thesis presents the history of the Crimean peninsula from antiquity to the present day. All the formations that have existed on the territory of the Crimean peninsula throughout history are considered. Special attention is paid to the Crimean War, which took place between 1853 and 1856 and involved Russia, the Ottoman Empire, France and Great Britain. The Crimean War made the peninsula world-famous. The thesis also focuses on contemporary developments involving Russia and Ukraine, which are currently at war, that started in February 2022.
