Secondary abstract: | During aluminum die casting, cooling and preheating of the casting tool present an important factor in the analysis of product quality, and more importantly, die lifespan. Within the scope of the final thesis first we describe die casting and the finite element method, which is then used for the thermal analysis of a flexible plate in a die with two different methods of tempering. Ultimately, we analyze the differences in temperature fields that arise due to changes in tempering regimes. |
